Masterís degree in drug design

Objectives

  • To prepare students for a doctorate in the field of drug design
  • To train students in the research into new active ingredients of therapeutic interest
  • To provide an overview of the challenges and opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry

Careers

A doctorate in the field of research into new active ingredients of therapeutic interest, with future prospects for careers as associate professors and full-time researchers in French universities, large organizations and the pharmaceutical industries.

International openings

  • The course receives funding from the Pharmaco-Chemical Group of the Atlantic Arc (GP2A)
    • Recognition of the specialist field of Drug Design on an international level
    • Student fellowships and  possible internships abroad
  • The course is open to foreign students who have qualifications in medicine and pharmacy, or who have equivalent experience in the aforementioned fields.

The accreditation of previous qualifications is processed online on the student portal of the website of the University of Caen Normandy · https://gest.unicaen.fr/valid_acquis

Master's First Year
Graduate students
Foreign graduate students of pharmacy or medicine · Admission to first or second year of master's degree, depending on individual dossiers

Master's Second Year
Post-graduate students with a first-year master's degree
Students in pharmacy with valid qualifications in French diplomas DFASP 2 and 5AHU
Students in medicine with valid qualifications in second stage of medical studies (DCEM)
